What does a retired, legendary cyclist do at the end of a two-wheeled career? If you’re George Hincapie, you open a destination hotel on your home turf (South Carolina), give it a euro luxury feel, staff it with the highest level of domestiques, host celebrity chefs and cycling celebrities, stock it with a high end fleet of bicycles and name all the guest rooms after famous climbs. As reviewed by Taste of the South, “Tucked in the rolling foothills, this boutique hotel looks like it was plucked from a postcard of northern Italy. Opulent but adorably small (there are only 13 rooms), this hotel was built to cater to the cycling crowd, but it’s quite the gem for us regular folks, too!”

I was very interested but the pictures flash so quickly it irritated me. Give me a few seconds. I am not 20 and I ride bikes.
