Tuesday night was the kick off of our 3rd annual Wellness Revolution program in Burlington, VT; six weeks of informational and skill building sessions, packaged with fun and camaraderie, and a collective spirit to achieve wellness and well being.
Here are some reasons our newest revolutionaries came together:
“I lost 150 lbs last year and I want become more active to keep if off.”
“I am afraid to “clip in” but want to learn how.”
“I always feel top heavy and like I am going to fall over on the road.”
“I want to learn how to shift all those gears so I can ride up a hill.”
“I want to learn how to change a tire so I feel I can go out alone.”
“I ride a lot, but want to find others to ride with.”
“I need to figure out what to wear on my bike”
“I’ve never ridden a road bike and my goal is to compete in a triathlon.”
“I broke my ankle so I can’t run any more but I think I can ride a bike.”
“I just walked into this place for a cup of coffee, and thought it would be cool to join this group and learn to ride”
